Best fried chicken around! Currently a stand up takes out restaurant but they are opening a sit down restaurant next week. Cant wait!
The chicken sandwich Is huge and delicious! The burgers are good and they have double and triple if you're really hungry! Very reasonable on prices for quality food! They have seafood , tenders and sides !only thing you need is a place to sit down and enjoy your food even tho they have a picnic table , but this place is a order @ window and take out ! They been here for at 35 years , so that alone can give a hint of Delicious food!
The food is usually very good, although, the brine marinated chicken is a bit salty for some. I find it to be very tasty- especially the GIGANTIC chicken breast sandwich. The biggest down side is that the prices are SKY high! The service is friendly, but be prepared to wait as almost anything you order is cooked fresh. Also, all seating is outside picnic tables so plan to picnic to take it home.
Really cool walk up lunch dinner spot, chicken is very good and better than all national chains. Hotdog and corn dog are spot on. Very reasonable prices as-well. No compliants at all. Service is quick for as busy as they are.
Hands down the biggest, and best tasting Chicken Fillet Sandwich . And has always been fresh .
Forget the others, we had the best fried chicken filet sandwiches here at Big Chic! They were perfectly cooked and huge. It verges on being too salty but it's delicious. Also had some wonderful fried okra on the side instead of fries. My husband had the French fries which were not great however. They had an extra taste of old oil or freezer burn unfortunately. This nostalgic place has walkup windows for ordering and 'seating' is picnic tables beyond the edge of the parking lot. This is essentially a take-out place but I think some of the building could be opened up in the future for seating. The service was really great! Friendly, polite and accommodating. We will be back!
